Meet the Pastors!
Pastors Jason & Melanie Tucker
Jason and Melanie Tucker are the lead pastors and church planters of Home Life Church in Slidell, Louisiana. They met the Lord and began serving in ministry as teenagers, and their passion for Jesus and His Church has continued to shape their lives and calling. They have served in the Tabernacle Church for the last 14 years and are now being sent out to plant a church in Slidell.
Today, Jason and Melanie believe God has called their family to Slidell with a simple but powerful mission: to bring people Home to Jesus and empower them to live the life He has called them to live.
Alongside their three children—Myla and Jemma, 4, and Jason III, 1½—they are excited to build a church that feels like home: a place where people can encounter the presence of God, discover their identity in Christ, find authentic community, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Their heart is to see people not only come to know Jesus, but to discover the purpose, gifts, and calling God has placed inside of them. They believe every person has a God-given purpose and that the local church should be a place that helps people take their next step, grow in faith, and live boldly in the life God designed for them.
Jason and Melanie are honored to call Slidell home and are full of faith for what God is going to do through Home Life Church. They are excited to see lives changed, families strengthened, people equipped, and a community transformed as more and more people find their way Home to Jesus.
