The Fruit of the Righteous is a Tree of Life

Oct 3, 2026  •  Dema Blagoev, Guest Speaker

Are you living just for today, or are you planting seeds that will outlive you?

In this sermon, guest speaker Dema Blagoev, delivers a challenging call to move beyond personal comfort and invest in an eternal legacy.

Looking at the life of King Hezekiah in 2 Kings 20, Dema highlights the danger of spiritual shortsightedness. Although Hezekiah experienced miraculous healing and saw the shadow of the sun move backward, he made a tragic mistake: he settled for peace and security during his own lifetime while ignoring what would happen to his children and future generations.

Through Psalm 1, Proverbs 11:30, and Jesus' parable of the mustard seed, Dema demonstrates how God designs every believer to be a tree of life. Rather than throwing away the seeds inside our lives, we are called to plant ourselves into discipleship, pour into the next generation, and bear fruit that lasts for decades to come.
